Are your nails ready?

Summer is right around the corner…it’s time to get your fingernails and toenails prepped for the sunny season. It’s time to pick out some new bright polishes and pamper them with healthy hydration.

There are so many cool things you can do with nails now. Gone are to be the days of just a couple of coats of plain polish. Now, there’s nail art and graphics, effects, and pretty much anything you can dream up. There are no rules, anything goes. Bold, bright, dark, light, be creative.

Dashing Diva has some really fun nail appliques. They are basically stickers you put on ES33A5154your nails. I was in a pink mood – I picked out Color FX Petal Pusher and Design FX Gold Treasure to play around with. Both come with 58 appliques (34 full nail appliques in 17 sizes and 24 French appliques in 12 sizes). I did one hand French and the other full color. I had an easier time putting on the tips than the full nail stickers, but at the end, I thought they both looked great. I think they’ll look even better after a few pool days, having a little bit of a tan. Another innovative product by Dashing Diva is the Nail Guard. It’s just like the appliques I used, but clear. They are meant as a prep for gel polish or acrylic nails. No damage, no soaking, just peel them off!

Nubar has awesome polishes. I’m pretty regularly wearing Brilliant which is part of the Prisms Collection. I just love how it matches my skin tone and the shimmer, shine it has. I pair it with Seche’s base and top coats. My nails seriously look nice for a week!

The perfect summertime prepper before any polish is Jericho Cosmetics Dead Sea Nail Kit. It comes with a nail file, buffer, cuticle oil and Dead Sea minerals hand and body lotion. It will make every mani and pedi beautiful.

Here comes summer! Get your nails ready.
