Break through the breakouts

Breakouts are the worst. They happen to young people. They happen to old people. They always happen at the worst time possible (before a date or an event, a time when you want to look your best).  Chronic breakouts, like acne, can be even more frustrating. It’s really important to try to find the cause of acne…such as hormonal or stress or another reason. That way, you may have a better chance of getting it to clear up. It takes a lot of patience – acne does – there usually isn’t a cure-all right away, there is  trying different regimens to see what works best.

Here are a handful of products that are known to help clear up aggravated skin: Premier by Dead Sea Salt Soap, Jericho Black Mud Body Wrap, Osmosis Deep Clean and The Jojoba Company 100% Natural Australian Jojoba.

Two lines have ingredients from the Dead Sea, Premier and Jericho. The Dead Sea has long been known to have healing properties for many skin conditions.  The Premier by Dead Sea Salt Soap cleanses and conditions the skin naturally, while gently removing dirt and other impurities that can cause blemishes. Jericho Black Mud Body Wrap is enriched with a therapeutic blend of Dead Sea minerals and mud to soothe and calm irritated skin. And even though it is a body wrap, it works great on the face, too.

Osmosis Deep Clean Detox Cleanser is made for congested skin. Coconut and citrus essential oils remove impurities for fresh, comfortable skin. In combination with one of their Vitamin A serums, it’s a powerful weapon against acne.

The jojoba Company 100% Natural Australian Jojoba is awesome in the fight for clear skin. It’s called an oil, but really it is a wax ester that is so good for skin, and it never feels greasy. It is non-comedogenic and non-allergenic so it won’t clog pores. It is anti-bacterial so it is great at combatting blemish bacteria.

Whatever you try, or whatever works for you, we all have the same goal…to clear up breakouts, blemishes and acne. Good luck! Let me know your acne-eliminating secret below.
